Cultivating Inclusion: The Story Behind Inclusion Pathway

Inclusion is more than a policy it’s a mindset. It’s the belief that every person, regardless of background, ability, or circumstance, deserves to belong, participate, and thrive. At Inclusion Pathway, this belief forms the foundation of everything we do.

We empower teams to move beyond compliance and towards genuine inclusion creating environments where diversity is valued, barriers are removed, and everyone has the opportunity to succeed.

Our Journey: From Classroom to Consultancy

Inclusion Pathway was founded by Ghazala Malik, a UK-qualified teacher with over a decade of classroom and leadership experience, including roles as a SENDCO and inclusion lead.

Throughout her teaching career, Ghazala saw how inclusive culture could transform outcomes  not only for students with additional needs but also for educators, families, and communities. Recognising the need for practical, real-world training, she brought together a team of UK-qualified teachers, SEND specialists, and accessibility experts who shared her passion for meaningful change.

What began as a mission to improve inclusion in schools has evolved into a cross-sector consultancy supporting organisations across education, care, culture, business, and government. Today, Inclusion Pathway partners with clients both in the UK and internationally, helping them embed inclusion at every level from daily practice to strategic leadership.

Who We Are

Our team brings together decades of expertise in education, SEND, leadership, accessibility, and organisational change. We understand the real challenges organisations face — whether it’s meeting compliance requirements, training staff, designing accessible spaces, or building inclusive strategies that last.

Our approach is clear, compassionate, and collaborative. We work with you, not for you tailoring every piece of training and consultancy to your goals, workforce, and context.

Our Core Values

At Inclusion Pathway, our values shape every decision, partnership, and programme:

  • Clarity: We communicate with honesty and precision, cutting through complexity.

  • Compassion: We keep people — not policies — at the heart of inclusion.

  • Collaboration: We believe change happens together.

  • Credibility: Our work is grounded in evidence, research, and real-world practice.

What Sets Us Apart

What makes Inclusion Pathway unique is our cross-sector expertise. We understand the nuances of inclusion in classrooms, care homes, museums, customer service desks, and corporate offices alike.

Our consultancy focuses on creating whole-organisation impact, ensuring inclusion is embedded in policy, culture, and leadership — not treated as an afterthought. From bespoke training to strategic partnerships with local authorities and public bodies, our work is built to create lasting change.

We also bring a global perspective, supporting both UK-based and international organisations navigating accessibility standards, inspection frameworks, and inclusive design practices.
